Ashley Jennings is a native Texan who's happy to call the District of Columbia her new home. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where she earned degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations, with a minor in International Business.

Prior to coming to WUSA9, Ashley served as a campus correspondent for ABC News where she reported Texas and national news in the form of broadcast, print and radio stories to various ABC platforms.

She's excited to explore the streets of DC, Maryland and Virginia one story at a time.
