Meet this week's "Cutest K-9," Cocoa, a 2-year-old Yorkie-Poo originally from North Carolina, but moved with her mom, Kamila, for grad school and now lives in Washington, D.C.
This 8 lb. love machine is the ultimate teddy bear who craves attention, and loves to snuggle and give kisses.
When his mom first brought him home, he was 3 lbs., and fit in the cup holder of her car. Since then he has grown into a happy and healthy young pup who loves a good salad. His favorite treats are apples, lettuce, and carrots (if only I could be as disciplined).
He loves to meet new friends, and though he is small, bigger neighborhood dogs do not intimidate him.
Cocoa enjoys playing dress up, lives for a nice belly rub, and loves cuddling at night.
This little ball of energy can be found on Howard University’s campus studying with students like his mom. Keep a look out as he is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!
This lovable Yorkie-Poo is our fourth featured K-9. Every Friday, we will feature one adorable dog. Do you think your dog has what it takes to be named your neighborhood's cutest K-9? If so, then we want to hear from you!
Send your photos to wusa-webproduction@wusa9.com where we will vote on the cutest pup.
Your four-legged friend could have the chance to be featured on our website.
Good luck, and we hope you have a paw-tastic Friday!
