 Salon Daniel of McLean, Va., the premiere hair salon sponsor for the upcoming Becky’s Fund “Walk This Way” Fashion Show, raised more than $3,000 at their silent auction/20 year-anniversary party. Potomac Mills will make a patriotic tribute in honor of the tenth anniversary of 9/11.  In memory of all of those who lost their lives during that tragic time in American history, shoppers are invited to stop by Guest Services throughout the day to receive a free mini American flag, while supplies last.  Throughout the United States, September 11 is designated as Patriot Day, a day of remembrance.

The event will be Sunday, September 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Four local businessmen, each of whom have been the driving forces behind successful start-up ventures across an array of industries, have recently come together for their latest business endeavor, B-Thrifty. A super thrift store and international bazaar where customers can shop for great savings and the best bargains around from over 250,000 items of inventory, B-Thrifty will be located at 13412 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge, VA, and will open to the public on August 20, 2011.
