Community Recital on May 20 Features Talented Prince William County Teachers

From Prince William County Public Schools:

 

Music teachers of Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) will perform in a recital on Friday, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Potomac High School, 3401 Panther Pride Drive in Dumfries. The concert is free and open to the public. Performances will feature vocals, violinists, a clarinetist, and pianists. The following PWCS music teachers will perform: Rebecca Anderson, Neabsco Elementary School, Clarinet;Katherine Oros, Springwoods Elementary School, Voice;Ivelina Cheytanova, Mullen Elementary School (with husband Emil Cheytanova below), Piano;Emil Cheytanova, Rippon Middle School, Viola;Jane Cole, Penn Elementary School, Piano; Michael Munayer, Elementary Schools, Violin. Contact Potomac High School at 703.441.4200 for additional information.

 

 

Ribbon Cutting for Patriot High School and T. Clay Wood Elementary School Scheduled for June 28

From Prince William County Public Schools:

T. Clay Wood Elementary School and Patriot High School, two of three new schools that will open this September, will hold a joint ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, June 28 at 6 p.m. The schools are adjacent to each other on Kettle Run Road in Nokesville. Those who plan to attend the ceremony are asked to enter at the entrance to the high school, 10504 Kettle Run Road, Nokesville. The third school scheduled to open in the fall, Piney Branch Elementary School, will hold its ribbon cutting ceremony in late August.
