Police Seeking Help to Find and Stop Community Vandalisms

The Prince William County Police Department has seen several different cases of vandalism recently. The first case occurred on Friday, July 30 at “Waterworks” at Andrew Leitch Park at 5301 Dale Blvd in Dale City sometime between 10:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. Food was thrown all around the pool area and there was furniture thrown into the pool as well. The damage to the area was estimated to be thousands of dollars.

Another vandalism incident was reported at “Waterworks” on August 5. Police suspect the vandalism occurred between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. The incident is believed to be related to the one in July.

The Prince William County Police Department is giving out a $1,000 cash reward for anyone who can provide information about the vandalisms; you don't have to provide your name. To report any information you should call Prince William County Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700 or 1-866-411-TIPS.
