Black Friday Midnight Opening at Potomac Mills

First Sunday Dance at the Candy Factory

Join the fabulous dance sessions on the 1st Sunday of each month from 4-6pm at the Center for the Arts in Old Town Manassas. On Sunday, December 5, the dance will be the rumba! Arrive at 3:30pm for a dance lesson with great dance instructors teaching you specific dances, followed by an open dance session where you can practice what you've just learned or refine steps you may already know! Beginners and advanced dancers are all welcome. Come try the gorgeous floors of the Kellar Theater at the Candy Factory. Bring your friends and family! Cost is $15.00 per person for lesson and dance session, $10 Dance only. Pay at the door.

Thanksgiving Eve Service and Baptism

The following was sent to us by Occoquan Bible Church:

Join us, Occoquan Bible Church, 3700 Old Bridge Road, on Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday, November 24, 2010) from 7:00pm until 8:30pm for a time of fellowship and worship. There will be a brass ensemble providing the music, and refreshments will be served after the service.  We will also celebrate the Baptism of several people that evening as well.  If you or a family member would like to be Baptized, there is a mandatory class on Saturday, November 6th at 9:00am.  Please contact the admin office at 703-878-4673 for more information.

Park Restoration Day

Join Prince William Counties Historic Preservation staff this Saturday, October 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to help in their efforts to restore the Bristoe Station Battlefield. Bring the whole family and be prepared to get dirty and help remove invasive plants, plant native species, and maintain the trails. Wear your sturdy work shoes, bring gloves, sun screen and bug spray! Tools will be provided. Meet in the parking lot off Iron Brigade Avenue. Call 703-792-5546 for more information.
