Speedy Green Car Wash Donates More Than $300 to SERVE in February

With the help of their customers, Speedy Green Car Wash of Manassas, Va. raised more than $300 for the local, community organization, SERVE, Inc. as part of a February charity campaign. Customers selected the SERVE fundraiser code when making their car wash selections and 20 percent of their total car wash service went toward SERVE. Salon Daniel Raises More than $500 to Help the American Heart Association

Salon Daniel collected the donations by asking their clients to wear ‘red’ on Saturdays. Salon Daniel donated 10 percent of the client’s total service to the American Heart Association.

everal students in PWCS middle schools are going far beyond their usual homework this week as they study and prepare for the Prince William County Spelling Bee on Friday, March 11 at Godwin Middle School. The event is co-sponsored by the “News & Messenger” and the Bel Air Women’s Club.

Participants and their parents or guardians should arrive at Godwin Middle School by 6 p.m. The doors will open to the public at 7 p.m. Godwin Middle School is located at 14800 Darbydale Avenue, Woodbridge.
