Police: Man pushed woman off of motorcycle

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A man was arrested Sunday for pushing a woman off of a motorcycle, Prince William County police said.

Tyrone Guy Williams II, 25, of Woodbridge was riding a motorcycle with a 20-year-old female acquaintance when they stopped in the area of West Longview Drive and Franklin Street, police said.

After an argument, Williams pushed the woman off of the motorcycle. She injured her wrist and head, police said.

Williams has been charged with malicious wounding and malicious bodily injury. He is being held without bond, according to police.

Men in ski masks, acquaintance rob man in Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- After asking for help to get gas, a man was robbed by an acquaintance and two men in ski masks, according to Prince William County Police.

The robbery happened at an apartment in the 1300 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge, say police. Sometime in the early morning, a 30-year-old man called an acquaintance to help him get gas. When the acquaintance arrived at the man's apartment at approximately 2:45 a.m., however, the acquaintance was armed with a handgun and had two masked men with him. Police say the men forcibly entered the home. One of the masked men had a machete while the other one had a bat.

The men and acquaintance got away with a safe.

Va. police investigate drowning of infant girl

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police in Prince William County are investigating the drowning death of a 20-month-old girl.

Officers responded to a residence on Ohio Avenue in Woodbridge Tuesday, where family members reported to police that the victim was found unresponsive in the home's pool.

The infant was pulled from the water and CPR was initiated before being transported to an area hospital where she died, police said.

Police say the child's family lost track of the girl and believed she was inside the home. Upon checking the home and outside area, the girl was discovered in the pool.

Police say preliminary investigation appears to be an accident.

Va. man chokes and throws bottle at victim

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prince William County Police Department arrested a 44-year-old man for hitting a woman in the head with a bottle and choking her until she lost consciousness on August 21.

Police responded to 12500 Gordon Blvd in Woodbridge, Va. around 10:09 p.m. for the report of a domestic assault, authorities said.

The victim, a 38-year-old woman told police she got into an argument with the suspect which escalated, police said. The man threw a bottle at the woman, which hit her in the head, police said.

The man choked the woman until she lost consciousness, authorities said. According to authorities, a family member was able to wake the woman and call police.

Only minor injuries were reported, police said.

Va. man arrested for choking woman

BRISTOW, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prince William County Police Department arrested a 42-year-old man for choking a woman inside of a Bristow, Va. home late Saturday night.

Officers responded to the home located in the 7900 block of Sequoia Park Way in Bristow, Va. around 11:23 a.m., police said. A 43-year-old woman told police, the suspect and her got into an argument, which escalated.

The suspect choked the victim and then left the house before officers arrived, police said. The suspect and the victim knew each other, according to authorities.

Police found Michael Reuben Kemp, 42 and arrested him. Kemp is being charged with strangulation and domestic assault and battery.

FOUND: 8-year-old, 5-year-old Woodbridge sisters

UPDATE: Police said these missing children have been found safe and unharmed.


WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police in Prince William County are seeking the public's help in locating 8- and 5-year-old sisters who went missing from their home in Woodbridge.

Jhosyn Alvarado, 5, and Fatima Alvarado, 8, left their home located in the 12700 block of Cara Drive sometime during the overnight hours, police said.

Jhosyn is described as being 3'1", 50 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with flowers and blue jeans, and may also be carrying a pink princess backpack.
