MANASSAS, Va. (AP) - Prince William County Police say that three county residents have died after shoveling snow in the weekend blizzard.

Police were called Sunday night to a home in Dale City when a 73-year-old man collapsed shortly after shoveling snow.

And early Tuesday, police were called to a Gainesville home where a 69-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he went to bed after shoveling snow and complaining of chest pain and was later found unresponsive by a family member.

Those two incidents follow a previously reported death of a 40-year-old Haymarket man Friday night.

Virginia, in tracking storm-related deaths, does not count deaths that appear to occur from heart attacks induced by shoveling snow.
