Suspects ID'd after threats to Prince William Co. schools

MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA9) -- Two suspects have been identified after threats to at least three high schools in Prince William County that have left parents on edge, county police say.

Investigators say the threats, which were made online and within school walls, are not credible and suspect doesn't even live in the state.

During a community meeting Monday night, police say both suspects are juveniles and responsible for making threats online.

The county schools have been the focus of a number of threats - dating back to January 4th - some posted online others scrawled on the walls of school bathrooms.

The graffiti threats happened at 3 schools - Woodbridge, Forest Park, and Gar-Field Senior High.

But even with that information - parents still lined up to ask questions. Police, principals, and school board members listened and answered each one - hoping to calm some of the fears so they can work together and figure out a way to stop all of this.
