Police: Woman Hit Man In Head With 'Tire Iron' | News
WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A woman was arrested for hitting a man in the head with a tire iron on Sunday, police said.
Phyllis Denice Lindsay, 23, of Woodbridge, got into an argument with a 26-year-old man at the 2100 block of Culpeper Drive, then she assaulted him with the object, police said.
"During the encounter, the accused retrieved a "tire iron" from her vehicle and struck the victim to the head. Following the assault, the accused left the area but was located by officers. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested," Prince William County Police said in a news release.
Lindsay is being charged with malicious wounding and domestic assault and battery.
She's being held, without bond.
