Gainesville Pediatric Dentistry Takes a Polar Dip to Help Children

Drs. Arshia Shingler and My Tran plunged into cold waters for the Virginia Polar Dip in Reston, Va. at the Reston Community Center in Lake Anne, benefitting Camp Sunshine, a retreat in Maine for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. All proceeds help send children from the DC area to Camp Sunshine. To date, the Virginia Polar Dip has raised more than $73,000. The 2011 year, our goal is to raise $75,000 which will allow 37 families from the VA/MD/DC area to come to Camp Sunshine. For more information, go to www.freezinforareason.com.
