Monza and Carmello’s of Old Town Manassas, Va. are featuring a Flying Dog Beer Dinner with a four-course dinner, featuring beers like Bloodline IPA, Single Hop Imperial IPA HBC 431, Earl Grey Black Wheat, Lucky SOB Irish Red Ale and Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout on Thurs., Mar. 26 at 6:30 p.m. for $70 inclusive per person; and the Ruffino Winery Wine Dinner on Thurs., Apr. 2 at 6:30 p.m. for $85 inclusive. Monza’s Flying Dog Beer Dinner includes:  The Greeter Beer, Bloodline IPA with a meat and cheese platter; Single Hop Imperial IPA HBC 431, with seared ahi tuna, ponzu, wasabi, pickled ginger, siracha aioli; Earl Grey Black Wheat served with roasted red pepper bisque made of red pepper, cream, smoked gouda and croutons; Lucky SOB Irish Red Ale served with chicken Piedmontese which is fresh chicken breast, Italian sausage, roasted peppers, pine nuts, tomatoes, Maitake mushrooms, gnocchi and light demi-glaze brown sauce; and Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout, coffee flan, a homemade flan, crème fraiche and chocolate shavings.

Carmello’s Ruffino Wine Dinner includes a four-course dinner, including the Orvieto Classico 2013, with Insalta De Mozzarella which is fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, basil, balsamic vinaigrette;  Riserva Ducale Chianti Classico 2010 paired with tortellini crema rosa, cheese tortellini, mushrooms, chicken and rose cream sauce; the Super Tuscan Modus 2011, served with saltimbocca alla Romana, made with veal medallions, prosciutto, fresh sage, Madeira cream sauce, mushroom risotto and sugar snaps; and for dessert, Moscato D’asti 2013 served with mascarpone mousse.

“By request, we’re bringing back some of our customers’ favorite beers and wines, with Flying Dog beer and Ruffino wines,” said Alice Pires, owner of Monza of Old Town Manassas. “Whether you’re a beer or wine drinker, our special menus combine some of our most popular menu items to enhance the flavors of your beverage,” said Pires.
