Chef Robert Barolin, owner of City Square Café in Old Town Manassas, Va. will be Brainfood’s guest chef, teaching 15 teenagers from DC’s various DC high schools how to prepare Mediterranean Shrimp Pasta and Bruschetta on Tues., Feb. 8 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Brainfood’s offices, located at Columbia Heights,1525 Newton St, NW. Brainfood offers after school and summer programs that allow kids to be kids, while also challenging them to develop new skills and raise self-expectations.

City Square Café in Old Town Manassas provides tapas and homemade American bistro favorites with an international flair, seven days a week. Off-site catering is also available for personal or business events.

Hours of operation include: Mon. through Thurs., 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (lunch and dinner,) Fri., 11 a.m.to 10 p.m. (lunch and dinner), Sat., 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and Sun., 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (breakfast and lunch).
